1.  Can you tell me a little more about your weight loss program?

Our medically supervised program will provide you with the foundation with which to accomplish your weight loss goals quickly and safely.  We utilize FDA approved appetite suppressants to control your hunger, and supplemental injections which are a combination of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to enhance your overall weight loss.  We provide nutritional and exercise counseling and support to help you attain your desired goal.  Our nutritional plan uses a low calorie diet that consists of lean protein, favorable carbohydrates and good essential fats.  We require weekly visits to assess your progress, dispense your medication, and make any indicated changes that may be needed to help you achieve a healthy lifestyle.

2.   What are the fees involved in the program?

The initial visit is $200 and includes a consultation with a member of our medical staff, where you will be instructed on our program and nutritional plan.  You will also be provided with a basic exercise program regimen, which is a very important component to our program.  A weight check, measurements for body fat composition and blood pressure, an EKG, and a comprehensive blood panel will be performed.  Our physician will then evaluate your medical and weight history, and make the appropriate recommendations for your individualized program.  You will be dispensed your first week of medication and receive your first weekly injection.  A recommended monthly supply of our pharmacy grade multivitamins and a fat burner supplement that will enhance your overall results are available for an additional $45.  Our program requires a weekly visit that includes a personal consultation, your weight and body fat composition checks, a week's supply of medication and your supplemental injection.  This weekly fee is $65.

3.   What is the average weight loss of a patient on the program?

The typical patient who follows our program will lose 5 to 10 pounds in the first week and can lose 15 to 20 pounds during the first month.

4.   What are the injections?

Our injections are a unique combination of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that provide an important fortifying effect as your body sheds the execess weight. The injections help your body eliminate fat, control carbohydrate metabolism, boost your body's immune system, and provide your body with extra energy.

5.   Do the injections control your appetite?

No, the FDA approved suppressant is what controls your appetite.

6.   What kinds of appetite suppressants do you use?

The medications that we dispense in our office are FDA approved, and, because of their proven long-term safety and efficacy, they are recommended by the National Institute of Health for the treatment of weight loss.

7.   Is this Phen/Fen?

Absolutely not.  The combination of Phen/Fen was popular during the 1990s, but was later discovered to cause cardiac complications. As a result, the medication was permanently banned.  The only medications that we use are FDA approved because of their proven long-term safety and efficacy.  They are also recommended by the National Institute of Health.

8.   I just had an EKG and blood work recently.  Can I bring them in with me?

For your safety, our protocol requires that each new patient receive an EKG and blood work during his initial visit.

9.  How long does the initial consultation normally last?

Schedule your time to allow at least an hour for your first visit.
